Proper maintenance can extend the service life of Amydor digital foil printers and reduce maintenance costs. Daily maintenance requires doing the following 5 points well:
Daily cleaning: prevent dust from affecting precision: Wipe the equipment surface and feeding channel with a dry soft cloth before leaving work to remove residual foil scraps and dust; Clean the stamping head with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol (under power-off state) to prevent residual foil from sticking and affecting the next stamping;
Weekly inspection: ensure normal operation of components: Check the tightness of the feeding belt (too loose may cause feeding deviation). If loose, adjust it through the knob on the side of the equipment; Check the firmness of power and data cable interfaces to avoid malfunctions caused by poor contact;
Monthly maintenance: lubrication and calibration of key components: Drop 1-2 drops of special lubricating oil on the feeding roller to reduce wear; Check the positioning precision through the equipment's "calibration function," and adjust according to the manual steps if there is deviation;
Consumable selection: avoid equipment damage: Only use Amydor-compatible foil . Poor-quality foil is easy to produce scraps and block the channel; The thickness of the substrate does not exceed 3cm to avoid component deformation caused by exceeding the equipment's load capacity;
Long-term storage: protect when idle: If not used for a long time (e.g., holidays), cover the equipment with a dust cover after power-off; Take out the foil and consumables and store them in a dry environment to avoid moisture affecting use.
