Amydor digital foil printers adopt "digital plate-free foil stamping technology". The core principle is to convert design patterns into high-temperature stamping signals through computer control, enabling precise transfer of foil to the substrate surface. The entire process requires no plate-making and is easy to operate, with specific steps as follows:

Step 1: Equipment & Material Preparation

Connect Amydor digital foil printer to power, turn on the touch screen to start the equipment, and preheat for 5-10 minutes (until the temperature reaches the preset value);

Prepare substrates (cards, labels, packaging bags, etc.) and ensure the surface is clean, flat, and free of oil or wrinkles;

Install compatible foil: Open the equipment’s foil reel, fix the foil on the reel, and pass it through the guide wheel to ensure the foil is flat and not deviated (the side of the foil facing the substrate is the stamping surface).

Step 2: Design File Import & Parameter Setting

Import design files from the computer via USB interface or wireless connection;

Preview the pattern on the touch screen, adjust stamping position , and size ratio ;

Set core parameters according to the substrate material: Temperature, pressure, speed. The equipment has a built-in material parameter library, and preset schemes can be directly called.

Step 3: Test Stamping & Calibration

Place 1-2 substrates, click the "Test Stamp" button, and the equipment will automatically complete the feeding, stamping, and discharging process;

Check the test stamping effect: Whether the pattern is clear, whether the foil adhesion is firm (no peeling when gently scraped with nails), and whether the position is accurate;

Adjust parameters if the effect is poor: Increase temperature or decrease speed for blurriness; Increase pressure or replace foil for peeling; Calibrate the feeding channel for deviation.

Step 4: Bulk Stamping & Equipment Shutdown

After passing the test, place bulk substrates in the feeding table (supports stacked automatic feeding, 50-100 pieces at a time), click "Bulk Start", and the equipment will continuously complete stamping. The process can be monitored in real-time through the observation window;

After stamping, turn off the equipment power, clean residual foil scraps in the feeding channel and stamping head (wipe with a dry soft cloth or cotton swab), remove the foil reel and store it properly to avoid moisture.
